Natasha is a Sr. Process Engineer for Cenovus Energy Inc, where she is responsible for the facilities that support the Foster Creek R&D Solvents initiatives. Prior to working in the R&D department (Technology Development) in Calgary, Natasha was a site process engineer at the Foster Creek facility for four years, where she supported the field/offsites (wellpads), deoiling, vapour recovery and steam departments. In addition to working for Cenovus, Natasha has been involved in the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta (APEGA). Since moving to Alberta in 2013, Natasha volunteered as Branch Chair for the Lakeland branch in Cold Lake, until 2016 when she was elected to APEGA Council. Natasha served a three year term on APEGA council, until April 2019, when her term concluded. Prior to her move to Alberta in 2013, Natasha worked for Procter and Gamble Inc at their Belleville, Ontario manufacturing facility. In her five year career at P&G, she started as a process engineer on the development team for the chemical plant producing the Always Infinity™ material, FlexFoam™. Natasha spent her last three years at P&G as a Raw Materials Leader for the Latin and North American Always manufacturing facilities. It was her responsibility to work with global counterparts to manage the quality of the supply chain and deliver raw material cost savings through the introduction of new materials or process optimization.
