I am a M Sc student in Dept of Chemical Engineering. As already a graduate chemical engineering student before joining University of Calgary, my academic and professional history so far, has been targeted towards teaching and research. I have experience in planning and co-ordinating two Gas Sub-committee ADNOC, UAE funded projects based on Carbon capture and storage which has culminated in form of few research publications, a review paper and a book chapter. I have been an active team member and has a solid background in material synthesis and characterization. I have also presented in several conferences, posters and seminars. Communicating ideas and stimulating discussions in large classrooms as well as project update group meetings were some of my key strengths. In research projects, we have collaborated with interdisciplinary team of researchers to enhance the outcomes. In view of my interests and commitment to working with learning new skills, research and academics, my previous two employee positions were completed in university settings. I have interests in working for the design, development, modelling and simulation of novel materials which can and systems for carbon capture and storage
