Diana McQueen has extensive energy and environmental public policy experience at regional, provincial and international levels, as well as entrepreneurial experience in operating an independent business. Diana has her own consulting business, DMC Consulting & Business Development where she leads as a Senior Policy advisor and Business Development Manager in the ﬁelds of Energy, Environment, Aboriginal and Municipal issues.
Diana works in Calgary as a consultant for Hatch, a Multinational Engineering Firm as a Senior Policy & Business Development Advisor
Ms. McQueen is also a Board member with MEG Energy and is Chair of the Governance & Nominating committee and member of the Compensation and HS & E committees.
Diana is also a Board member of Canadian Water Next.
In public service, Ms. McQueen held various Alberta provincial cabinet roles, including Minister of Energy, Minister of Environment & Water, Minister of Environment & Sustainable Resource Development and Climate Change, Minister of Municipal Affairs and Government House Leader, and member of numerous committees such as Treasury Board, and Agenda & Priorities to name but a few.
Prior to her roles with the Alberta government, Ms. McQueen served for ten years at the municipal level in Drayton Valley as Mayor and Councillor.
Diana also worked for Amoco Canada for serval years, and she is a member of ICD, Institute for Corporate Directors.
