North America's Leading Energy Event
June 9 - 11, 2020
Stampede Park - Calgary, Canada

There are rare moments in time when certain individuals or companies shine.  They come along unexpectedly and have a profound effect on us; they become a legend in their area of expertise. To some they are controversial, to others they are heroes; but, regardless, no one can deny that they have an ongoing influence within the oil and gas sector. They are the leaders, the innovators, the collaborators who are disrupting the oil and gas industry.

Launched in 2014, the Global Petroleum Show Awards Gala (GPS Awards) is an evening of celebration and networking. The GPS Awards serves to celebrate the leaders who drive change, shine a spotlight on excellence, and promote healthy advancement within our industry.

This year’s gala was such a success with eleven nominees walking away with the 2019 GPS Award Winner title and will now join our prestigious group of award alumni.

Five hundred attendees enjoyed an evening of Canadian fun at the historical Hudson, which included a beautiful rendition of our national anthem by twelve year old Parker Riou, dancing talents of Trevor Pelletier from Siksika First Nation who demonstrated a traditional chicken dance, an inspiring blessing by Spiritual Leader Hal Eagletail and his daughter Cherokee Eagletail from Tsuut’ina First Nation and the hilarious talent of the host of the evening Canadian comedian, Cliff Prang.

Submission period for the 2020 Awards will open in the fall.

Congratulations to all GPS 2019 award winners, see you in 2020!
